1978 – 1983 marketed Sony Professional and institutional products as a division of Solid Corporation, known as PVE (professional video equipment).
1983 introduced one-inch sony vtr format with frame by frame slow motion capability, provided equipment used by the fact-finding commission in investigating Ninoy Aquino’s assassination.
1984 SVC was established as a independent company registered with SEC.
1985-1989
Engaged in local television productions – Ora enkantada, Boyfriend kong mamaw;
Tie up with Philippines Theater Company;
Produced first local video movie director Mike De Leon;
Established the country’s first video movie theater which closed months due to difficulty in securing movie content in video format.
1990 marketed various Sony Broadcast equipment to major TV stations and shifted the industry from the umatic to the betacam format.
1996 became a fully owned subsidiary of SGI
1998 embarked on the first major media center integration project for APEC in Subic
2000 pursued expansion into non-Sony brands to complement Sony line
2003 completed first major turn-key broadcast studio project with channel 7.
2005 handled integration works for Asean Summit held in Cebu and the succeeding Asean Ministerial Meeting in manila in January 2006
2006 launch of Sony XDCAM tapeless format to broadcast stations and production houses.
2007 integrated the media center for SEA games in partnership with the Philippines Sports Commission.
2011 completed two (2) major OB van projects for ABC5.
2014 completed the RTVM OB van project, supplied sony cameras for the INC arena.
2015 Integrated and supplied ENG and OB vans for government station PTNI;
Completed the APEC international media center turn-key project for RTVM
