Solid Video Corporation was formed thirty nine years (1974) ago, sold professional business products and handled only Sony Umatic VTRs and Sony KP Projection System but officially, the company was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 12, 1984 under SEC Registration No. 123037. Effective June 18, 1996, the Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of SOLID GROUP, INC. Starting as a small department handling broadcast equipment sales, video production rentals and video duplication services, the company has evolved to become the longest staying, widely reputable and mist stable supplier in the Philippine broadcast industry today.

Its clients are the broadcast networks, production and post-production houses, advertising companies, educational, medical and government institutions, as well as corporate individual entities with sophisticated audio-visual needs.

To date, Solid Video Corporation has existing partnerships with over 20 other broadcast related manufacturers including Sony. From carrying Sony, the Company now also represents equally established brands in the industry notably Audio-Technica (micropohones), Fujinon (professional lens), Clearcom (Communications), Vinten (tripods, pedestals), Klotz (electronics cable, connectors, cable assemblies), Chyron (character generator), Lite Panels (lights), Leader (test equipment), Autoscript (teleprompters), Playbox (video playout automation) and Nucomm (RF products). It continues to acquire and secrure agreements with new partners to provide a more integrated solution to its clients and become a one-stop enterprise.

Through the years, it has successfully stirred itself to undertake project management, provide turn-key solution, and do outside broadcast van fabrication and services including integration and comminssioning works. The company has successfully completed such prestigious project as the Southeast Asian Games, the ASEAN Summit and other works such as outside broadcast vans, media center(with TV and radio studios, recodring booth, editing facility, archiving and remote broadcast equipment), Masscom TV studios, AM/FM Internet radio and audio recording booth, broadcast and video streaming facility, LED video wall with live feed and upgrade & integration of studio cameras.

The Company's sales and service teams undergo extensive technical and service trainings from its principals both here and abroad. The Company participates in exhibits and seminars and its team regularly attends industry events to keep abreast with technology development. The Company likewise does operational and maintenace trainings, specialized repairs, and professional check-ups and sales of original parts.
